The unique tip starts as an acorn shape, which is trimmed down to the classic barrel size for a hybrid design that produces a dark and smooth articulation on cymbals. Additional length and long two-step taper give these sticks a quick response with a greater rebound for fast chops and deep grooves. Our sticks are made with a new step: weigh and sort the raw wooden dowels into designated models before manufacturing. Lighter dowels are reserved for our 7A sticks, while heavy, dense dowels are used for models like our Heavy 2B. We know drummers demand consistency in their sticks, which is why we developed this step to ensure a very narrow weight range and density for each model. Whenever you pick up your favorite pair, they will always feel the same. Finally, every pair is weight and pitched matched.
